The studio

The whole team,
under one roof.

Capital Design + Construct + Manage is a boutique studio, built because property projects fail in the handoffs. We removed them, putting a landscape architect, a qualified builder and a dedicated project manager side by side, every day, on every project. One team, accountable for the whole outcome.

Our methodology

Three disciplines.
No handoffs.

( 01 )

Design

Every project begins on paper. Our landscape architect develops a design around how you actually live, with site analysis, spatial planning and a planting palette selected for your soil, aspect and climate.

  • Concept & master planning
  • Planting design & selection
  • Full documentation

( 02 )

Construct

Our own licensed builders deliver the build — Class B licensed in ACT and NSW, and licensed pool builders. Structural works, pools, alfresco areas, renovations, extensions and remediation, built exactly to the drawings.

  • Class B licensed builders
  • Licensed pool builders & water features
  • Alfresco & entertaining areas
  • Retaining walls & irrigation
  • Structural repairs & remediation
  • Renovations & extensions

Manage

One number to call from start to finish. An in-house senior project manager runs council applications and approvals, coordinates every trade and stakeholder, and keeps the budget honest, so you never chase a timeline again.

  • In-house senior project manager
  • Council applications & approvals
  • Stakeholder liaison
  • Budget & programme control
  • Single point of contact

People

The people behind the work

Michael Nager

Founder + Managing Director

Sets the direction for Capital and is the first person you'll speak with — he gets to know your vision, walks the site with you, and builds the trust that turns an enquiry into a project. He also oversees the Design Department, keeping creative output and business direction moving in step.

Richard Forner

Landscape + Construction Project Director

Directs delivery on the ground — Class B licensed in ACT and NSW. Runs the build and the programme, keeping every structural element — landscaping, pools, alfresco areas and building construction — exactly to the drawings and to programme.

Andrea Laurenzi

Site Manager

Oversees the day-to-day delivery of each project on site, coordinating trades, managing the construction programme, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Andrea takes a hands-on approach, leading the site and team and working closely with the Project Director to ensure clear communication and a smooth transition between site operations and the office.

Andrew Hutch

Project + Business Development Coordinator

Keeps every project's numbers honest — detailed cost estimates, budget tracking and financial oversight. He also prepares the tenders and proposals that win new work, translating Capital's value into the numbers clients actually sign off on.

Floria Tsang

Landscape Architect

Leads every design from concept through to approval, including site analysis, spatial planning, planting palettes and the way you live and interact with your outdoors. Floria also manages the lodgement of Development Applications and Construction Certificates, preparing design drawings, landscape plans and relevant compliance documentation throughout the process. Floria holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.

The right fit

We do our best work on whole-of-site transformations.

Our ideal projects sit alongside new builds, extensions and major renovations, where the landscape is part of a wider premium property outcome, with a clear budget and a single accountable team from start to finish.

If your property is dated and you want it completely reworked, not patched, we should talk.
