Landscape design and construction
in Yass.
We design and build gardens, pools and outdoor rooms across Yass and the surrounding district — Class B licensed in NSW, with a free site visit to start.

Designing for the Yass district
Yass sits in genuinely cool country: frosts arrive early and linger well into spring, summers are dry and hot, and many blocks are large, open and exposed to wind. A garden that works here has to be chosen for those conditions from the start — frost-tolerant and drought-hardy planting, structure that reads at the scale of a bigger block, and shelter planting where the wind comes from.
Water is the other design question. On rural and lifestyle blocks we design planting around what the site can realistically supply, zone the irrigation so nothing is watered more than it needs, and mulch deep so what goes in stays in. The result is a garden that establishes properly and then asks very little of you.
Everything runs as one contract — design, construction and management — so the same team that draws the scheme builds it, and you have a single number to call from the first visit to handover.

Yass questions
Do you work in Yass?
Yes. Yass and the surrounding district are part of our regular service area, alongside Murrambateman, Sutton, Googong and Queanbeyan. The site visit is free.
Are you licensed to build in NSW?
Yes — Capital DCM is Class B licensed in both NSW and the ACT, and licensed pool builders in both.
Is designing for a rural block different?
It is. Scale, wind exposure, frost and water supply all change the planting and the structure, and we design for them deliberately rather than transplanting a suburban scheme.
What does it cost to get started?
Nothing. Every project begins with a free site visit and honest costings before you commit to anything.
